This Vineyard property was transformed from a blank, unfinished yard into a striking modern outdoor retreat designed for recreation, relaxation, and everyday living. The centerpiece of the backyard is a large custom putting green framed by sleek black steel planters, creating a clean and contemporary look while adding visual definition to the space. Belgard pavers were used throughout the landscape to create expansive gathering areas, including a raised patio that accommodates a new hot tub selected specifically to complement the overall design. Mexican beach pebble accents add texture and contrast, helping tie the modern aesthetic together.
One of the most unique features of the project is the custom wellness area, built with a combination of pavers and artificial turf in a geometric pattern that creates both visual interest and functionality. This dedicated space now features a cold plunge and sauna, offering the homeowners a private retreat right in their backyard. Additional upgrades included rebuilding the window wells with decorative rock-lined finishes, installing new custom steel stair railings, and constructing new stairs that seamlessly connect the various outdoor living spaces.
The transformation extended beyond the backyard to the front of the home as well. We expanded the front porch to create a more welcoming entry and completed a full exterior paint refresh, finishing the home in a bold black color that perfectly complements the modern landscape design. The result is a cohesive property where architecture and outdoor living work together to create a refined, functional space that stands out while still feeling comfortable and inviting.
